Potato-stamp workshop

December 24, 2013

It’s time again for the winter workshop series at the Ste-Émilie Skillshare (3942, rue Ste-Emilie)! All workshops ask for a sliding scale donation of $5-$15 to cover materials and donate toward the space, with the exception of Screenprinting 101, where we recommend $15-$30. If you’d like to suggest a workshop – or better yet, facilitate one – please email Sidetracks collective member Amber Dearest at amber.norrean@gmail.com.

♥ Sat. Dec. 28th – POTATO-STAMPING
2-5pm

Stamp-making is an easy and fun way to decorate or create patterns. Many people use them for holiday cards, home décor or sprucing up an otherwise drab neighbourhood wall. We can even use them to create our own patterned fabric. From your favourite t-shirt to a new sewing project, handmade stamps are the easiest way to customize any wearable.

We’ll have stamp making materials and a bit of fabric to practice on, or feel free to bring whatever paper or fabric you may want.
